I've been pondering writing a feature for a while. It has been a long thought process, because on the one hand it seems a little silly with regard to the amount of page views/watchers I get. However, on the other hand it's something to do. At this point in time I need something to do.

I have also dedicated much deliberation to deciding that rather than display a deluge of deviations or deify a lone deviant, my efforts will instead be directed towards a small selection of wonderful works from the galleries of two artists here whose page views tell me that they are criminally underrated.

And so without further ado, to our first deviant:

Molly is awesome. This goes without saying, however I feel that it should be said anyway because not enough people say it, possibly because they all know that it goes without saying. This is something of a grandiose statement, so here is the evidence to prove that it is not mere hyperbole:


Composition of opportunistic shots doesn't get a lot better than this.


Molly can use real cameras. The depth of field in this is perfect, as is the matching of the image's composition to the added text, which is itself very well thought-out. Did I mention the wonderful tonality?


Molly is also some kind of wizard. In this image we see how she has extracted, distilled and captured the essence of raw Rock magic from this unsuspecting musician.


I love everything about this photo. The best bit is, Molly has an edited version which is even better. I suggest you go to her gallery and badger her, and if you're lucky she might upload it P:


This is a lovely example of Molly's uncanny eye for beautiful lighting conditions. I also find it to be very pretty in its stark simplicity.


I cannot over-emphasise how wonderful Molly is. Sadly, it is impossible for me to accurately represent the sheer breadth of works in her gallery here - I would be writing this all day. Instead, I recommend that you go and have a look at her gallery for yourself. No matter who you are, I can guarantee you will find something that you love.

Ola's DA gallery is currently very small. This is a shame, and so I make it your duty as the person reading this to go forth and say nice things about her lovely photographs so that she uploads more of them. Here is why:


This speaks for itself, really. An excellent portrait.


Rarely does one find this much cuteness crammed into one black-and-white photo.


Here we have an excellent example of where knowing how to tweak a nicely composed shot makes it that little bit more special.


And finally, though I have difficulty explaining precisely why I like this photo so much, I hope seeing it might give you some small clue.

I should also make a special mention for ~GoldenShoes here, who is both an excellent model for Ola and also takes beautiful photos of her own. She has more page views than me though so is clearly not in desperate need of publicity P:
